[War_ooc] Iran

I knew the general thing about Iran, that they'd invaded Azerbaijan. So we're gearing up in Georgia? I had a hunch. I'll reply when I get back tomorrow, but Decker was never suggesting that he'd invade Iran by himself, and probably won't be all that happy and getting reprimanded by Canada and the US.

yea i dunno if you know this, but basically, iran invaded azerbaijan because its economy is shot and it needs more oil to prop itself up.  thus France and the United States have led the western allies in the effort to deal with iran, and now we are almost done gathering our forces for the push.  we are massing in georgia i believe.  china has cemented a new alliance with pakistan and is using their territory to launch its own war of conquest against the iranians.

Having just skimmed Chris's response:

ICly and OOCly, the US has warned the allies (NATO in particular) that
if they go in, they're going for the jugular.

That said, the US side is still in the gathering of allies phase, and
turned down China for OPSEC reasons.
