[War_ooc] Some quick notes

Guys,

   You've driven Pat bonkers.

   While he's calmed down, some notes. Really this is a refresher for
our oldies, a note to the newbies.

   1. Unfair and WRs are two things that do not go together. If we
fuck up, tell us - by email, *politely*. Not just me, cc it to Buckley
too. But "this is unfair" is not a good reason. If we wanted to be
unfair, WRs would take 30 minutes, not 3 days.

   2. For God's sake, if you're not going to post and its been a few
weeks, remind us. My gmail label for WAR is huge, I can't go through
everything every time.

   3. 1 post a week is still the rule. Just post and we'll be happy.
If you miss a week, we bop you. Miss 2 we bop you more. Miss 3 and say
nothing, and...Um. Yeah, Pat gets to be himself.

   4. As a rule:

     A. Pat is the lead on the WR, though that is increasingly
becoming a multiperson thing again.
     B. I handle the website, advertising, and the lists.
     C. Pat gets Secret Actions.

   5. Keep in mind, um, we're volunteers. It's not fun to only bitch
at us - the WR is something I'm amazed we get out at all. No, you may
not like what you see - okay, so be it. Move on. If there are errors
in fact, that's one thing.

   But this week we both nearly said 'fuck it' because of the WR. "I'm
getting beat on" is the eternal WAR complaint.

   I've said it. If you've been around WAR much, you've said it.

   It's WAR.
